William Pritchard - D (Incumbent)
![]() |
William Pritchard, an openly gay man, was recently appointed to take over an open seat on the Rochester City Council. In years of community work on behalf of the LGBT community, Pritchard has been involved closely with the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley (GAGV), the Rochester Lesbian and Gay Political Caucus and the Rochester Area Task Force on AIDS, among others. As an openly gay man, he will do whatever it takes to advance LGBT causes at any level of government, including a zero tolerance policy for the use of any public funds that go to organizations that practice discrimination of any kind.

Robert Stevenson - D,I,WF (Incumbent)
![]() |
Robert Stevenson has voted in support of our community on LGBT issues that have come before him in the Rochester City Council, including the creation of a domestic partnership registry. He has also worked with the Pride Agenda on a number of issues concerning our community. We endorse Stevenson based on his voting record and questionnaire responses regarding LGBT issues, however his answers regarding the issue of reproductive rights were not consistent with the Pride Agenda's pro-choice views.
